There’s something deeply reassuring about hearing from someone who has lived long enough to see health trends come and go — and is still standing strong.
Dorothy Dowswell is 93 years old.
She’s been following Ann Louise since the Bozeman days. She owns all the books. She listens to every podcast. She’s tried the protocols. And when people ask her why she’s thriving at ninety-three, she smiles and says:
“Ann Louise and I know.”
That quiet confidence says everything.
Dorothy calls Ann Louise “my Nutritionist.” Not because of a single appointment. But because of decades of guidance — through books like Guess What Came to Dinner and Radical Longevity. Through her First Lady of Nutrition podcast interviews with experts. Through the practical tools and health tips she could actually use.
And she did use them.
Over the years she incorporated Perfect Aminos after learning from one of Ann Louise’s guests. She added Bile Builder and Liver-Lovin Formula to support bile flow and liver detox. Flora-Key probiotics for improved gut health. And she especially loves the BeauCle Beauty lineup of clean skincare products for her mature skin.
But what is most remarkable is her resilience.
When COVID began, Dorothy faced what she calls a “double whammy.” Her husband — 99 years young — passed away. At the same time, she made the enormous decision to downsize from a large home and simplify her life.
That kind of stress would shake anyone. At the time, it showed up as skin issues. “The challenges come faster with the years,” she wrote.
And yet.
Her guidance was there. The foundation was there. The habits were there.
She didn’t start learning about her health at 90. She built it over time.
That’s what Radical Longevity is really about. Not a quick fix. Not a miracle pill. But decades of small, smart decisions — supporting the liver, nourishing the gut, stabilizing blood sugar, feeding the cells — so that when life throws its hardest seasons at you, you’re not starting from scratch.
Dorothy is living proof that education compounds.
You may not be 93. You may be 43. Or 68. Or somewhere in between.
But the question is the same:
What are you building today that your future self will thank you for?
Because one day, someone may look at you and ask, “What’s your secret?”
And like Dorothy…
You’ll know.

P.S. Let’s show Dorothy some love in the comments — 93 years young and still thriving deserves a celebration, don’t you think? 🎉
