I was diagnosed with GERD several years ago and was using Ranitidine as a treatment.
I was looking to find a more natural treatment and hoped HCL+2 would be the answer. However, HCL+2 is of only limited benefit. At best, it works for a couple of hours right after each meal. At worst it seems to aggravate my condition. Either way the effects of excessive stomach acid return and I have to treat with an OTC medication.
Thanks for the try and I will continue my search for a natural solution for excess stomach acid.
Thank you for your feedback. Based on the HCL+2 only working for a couple of hours, it may be that a hiatal hernia can be playing a role in the development of GERD. It can be corrected if it is diagnosed.
