Recipe: Spicy Roasted Chickpeas

Spicy Roasted Chickpeas
Recipe type: Snack
  • 2 cups cooked chickpeas, drained
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon chili powder
  • 1 teaspoon cumin
  • Pinch of salt
  1. Preheat the oven to 425°F
  2. Pat the chickpeas dry
  3. In a medium bowl, combine the olive oil, garlic and spices with a whisk
  4. Add the chickpeas to the mixture and toss until coated
  5. Place on a lined baking sheet and spread so the peas are in a single layer
  6. Bake for 15 minutes, toss the peas, then bake for another 15 minutes
