Inspirational Stories: Mark S.
We hear from lots of people in lots of different situations, trying to make a healthy change in their lives. (That’s one of the best things about working here!) Coordinating success stories really is a perk of my job and I’m so inspired by the people who share their stories with us.
A few months ago, I had the pleasure of coming to know a musician and singer named Mark. He is following the Fat Flush Plan and has had such amazing success, we thought it’d be fun to share his story thus far and ride shotgun while he moves closer and closer to his ultimate goal. Here’s Mark’s story so far:
“My mom loaned me the Fat Flush Plan book. I saw what it did for her and said, “Ok I’m done living this life.” I was heavier than I had ever been at 405 pounds. If I continued doing what I was doing, I was going to die an unhealthy man, and probably earlier than I should.
In the first 2 weeks of the program I lost 25 pounds. I was surprised that 25 pounds on me made any difference but the seat belt wasn’t so tough and I could put on my socks without sweating.
I’ve been on the plan now for 10 months. I’ve lost 135 pounds, weighing in at 270. I’m by no means done. It is going a bit slower but I’m shooting for 50 more pounds before I’m done.
Fat Flush plan has changed my life in so many ways. I’m a singer so it’s helped my breathing—big time—which ultimately helps me sing better. I haven’t been sick other than a head cold while on this diet and in Minnesota I’ve never gone this long without getting something. I’ll never eat the same way I did before I started. No surgery, just a healthier way of life.”
We’re so proud of Mark! He’s come such a long way and we’re so happy to play a part in helping him reach his goal, and get his life back! Stay tuned for a complete After update on Mark! (‘Cause you know he’s about to reach his goal!)
